Hey Bostonians, ever hear of the city of Mandela, Massachusetts?
Apparently, that went the way of Boston's I-695, a proposed inner loop highway. Seems there were a number of roads originally planned that got cancelled... including Route 3 past Route 128, and I-95 directly into Boston.
If you're really stretching for something to occupy your time, try this 296-page file documenting all of the changes to the MBTA's service since 1964.
