Secret Agent Radio
Just a quick unsolicited plug. Looking for something fun to listen to while you surf, hack, or do whatever on your computer? Check out the Secret Agent station at SomaFM.com. I don't know where they find this music, but it's incredibly cool. If my life had a soundtrack, I'd want it to sound something like this. If you have iTunes, it's right there in your "Radio" section, under "Electronica". There are other ways to listen at the SomaFM site.

Interesting mousepads
Further proof that there's nothing Japanese marketers CAN'T "improve" with a little perversion.

It's the rescue dragon!
Meet the T-52 Enryu, a 11.5"-tall robot from Japan. It's built to help rescue workers dig through debris. Here's the story, but it doesn't say much more than I already wrote. Why hasn't anyone built a real human exoskeleton yet?
Praise Allah and Pass the TP
Islamic Rules Concerning Lavatory UsageExcerpt: "If a person performs Istibra, and also performs Wudhu, and if after Wudhu he sees a liquid discharged, of which he knows that it is either urine or semen, it will be obligatory upon him to do Ghusl, together with Wudhu. But if he had not done Wudhu after Istibra, then Wudhu alone will be sufficient"Right. Got it.
Oh, That Wacky Bush!
At a black tie media event held at the White House, Bush put on a slideshow, including a shot of him looking under a couch, adding the comment: "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere!" Like, Duh!
This is a very entertaining 80's music quiz... The commentary on the results page makes the effort well worth it, if having tons of 80's songs pop into your head isn't entertaining enough... I probably could have squeezed out a few more points, but I'm supposed to be working... OK, back to work...

Well, maybe not ever, but it's still pretty darned funny.
Very Subtle Political Humor

How boring can life be?
Interesting Flash animation alert! Check out "I Love Death" at www.lodger.tv. To navigate to the video, wait until the little guy pops up over the 'video' label, then click the mouse over him.

Cue X-Files Theme...
Connecticut seafood company Trufresh decided they'd try something novel and freeze their lobsters for easy shipment and extended shelf life. Then they discovered that approximately 6% of the lobsters come back to life after being thawed out.

Wacky Web Classix #2 - The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
There are plenty of indescribable things on the Internet, but this must be right up there near the top... A music video of Leonard Nimoy, surrounded by hot (well, for the 70's) young women wearing pointy ears and baggy sweatshirts, singing about Bilbo Baggings, " the greatest little hobbit of them all".

In Defense of Biblical Marriage
Aah, here we go... In Defense of Biblical Marriage. If we're going to create a constitutional amendment about marriage, we might as go all the way.

FARK.com: Comments Thingee (855305)
FARK has a Photoshop contest with a theme exploring what happens when kids act out video games. It's a fun romp through photoshopping, and a little nostalgia (would kids these days even recognize Pong or Q*Bert?)

Volvo's New Concept Car
Volvo's " Your Concept Car", designed by women, for women, includes interchangeable designer seat panels, a "ponytail hole", and they got rid of that pesky "hood" thing. Why would anyone care what goes on under there, anyway?

Wacky Web Classix #1 - Thundercats Outtakes
Something randomly reminded me of this hilarious web nugget, so I figured I'd share it. It's a series of uncensored outtakes from the old Thundercats cartoon, laced with a good amount of profanity ("What the @#$% is a samoflange?!"). It's quite funny stuff.
One more disease to worry about
Let's hope nobody reading this ever suffers from bronchiolitis obliterans, a.k.a. " popcorn packers' lung". Death by microwave popcorn can NOT be a pleasant way to go.
